Missouri crop conditions improved slightly across the state under cool, wet conditions.
The USDA says corn silking in the state progressed to 15 percent, four percent behind last year. Corn condition improved slightly to 59 percent good to excellent.
Nearly all soybeans have emerged, and 14 percent have started blooming. Soybean condition fell slightly, down two percent to 55 percent good to excellent.
Winter wheat harvest is two thirds complete.
Cotton squaring progressed to 87 percent, 65 percent ahead of last year.
