At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle closed mostly higher and feeder cattle were higher on the lower move in corn. There was additional support from the strong exports sales numbers. August live cattle closed $.05 lower at $119.22 and October live cattle closed $.12 higher at $125.57. August feeder cattle closed $1.85 higher at $159.17 and September feeder cattle closed $1.80 higher at $161.82.
It was a quiet end to the week for direct cash cattle trade.
