Missouri crop conditions made mixed progress across the state under cool, wet conditions.        

The USDA says corn silking in the state progressed to 93 percent, 15 percent behind last year. Corn condition improved slightly to 61 percent good to excellent.  

Twenty percent of soybeans have bloomed, and four percent have started setting pods. Soybean condition improved slightly, up one percent to 56 percent good to excellent.  

Cotton squaring is nearly complete with nearly a quarter of the crop setting bolls.
