Southern Indiana farmer Ben Kron says recent “million-dollar rains” helped improve crop conditions.

“We were getting very, very dry to the point that crops had basically shut down and quit growing,” he says. “There was about a 30-day period where we had zero rain. In the last two weeks we’ve had an inch each week and that’s made a tremendous difference in all the crops.”

He says the crops are looking good.
