A slow start to direct cash cattle trade activity following the light to moderate trade that took place on Tuesday.  Bids have surfaced at $196 to $197 dressed in the North.  Asking prices are around $120 plus live in the South and $202 dressed in the North.  Look for more business to pick up over the balance of the week.   Deals Tuesday were at mostly $119 to $120 live, fully steady with last week’s business.
