The U.S. Transportation Secretary said the Biden administration is working to expand the reach of electric vehicles across the country.
Pete Buttigieg tells Brownfield ag workers and rural residents would benefit from a shift toward electric vehicles.
“When you’re doing a lot of towing or other uses that require torque, you’ll see that performance improvement,” he said. “And of course, the more rural and spread out your home area, the more you’re driving, more gas you’re using, the more money you’re going to save [with electric].”
The President’s plan would add half a million charging stations across the country.
