Minnesota crop condition ratings fell after another week of hot, dry, and humid weather.
The latest USDA crop report says just 38 percent of corn is considered good to excellent, a drop of four percentage points on the week.
Corn silking reached 90 percent, one day ahead of last year and a week and-a-half faster than the five-year average.
Soybeans rated good to excellent declined 7 percent to 36 percent, with crop development about five days ahead of normal.
