Wisconsin farmers took advantage of a warm, dry week.

The latest USDA crop report says activities included haying, harvesting winter wheat, and harvesting processing vegetables.

The second cutting of alfalfa surpassed 90 percent, and a quarter of the third cutting is complete.

Winter wheat is 62 percent harvested, with the final condition rating of the season at 77 percent good to excellent.

For corn, 75 percent is rated good to excellent with almost 70 percent silking.
