The U.S. Labor Secretary says the infrastructure deal reached in the Senate this week has the potential to add two-Million jobs a year over a decade.
Secretary Martin Walsh tells Brownfield Ag News, “Some of these jobs will be created in the construction industry from the investment and a lot of these jobs will be created in other industries in cities and towns across this country including rural America.”
Walsh says the $550 Billion dollars in new federal infrastructure investment would create good-paying, union jobs.
