A Central Nebraska farmer is getting some unlikely relief from the Canadian wildfires.
“It’s certainly noticeable,” says Glay Govier of Broken Bow.
He tells Brownfield the smoke has created a haze in his area. “I’ve actually thought the haze due to all the smoke has helped keep things a little cooler at least in the mornings anyways then the sun finally gets through and things really heat up.”
The corn, soybean and specialty crops grower says he’ll take any help he can get because Mother Nature has left his operation abnormally hot and dry.
