Dry conditions spurred fieldwork last week in Indiana.
According to the USDA, 76 percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition. Ninety-three percent of corn is silking, and 31 percent is in the dough stage.
Seventy-two percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent. Eighty five percent of soybeans are blooming, and 52 percent are setting pods.
