Arkansas crop development remains close to the average pace.

Twenty three percent of the corn crop has reached maturity with 83% in the dough stage and 66% rated good to excellent.  Rice is 49% headed, 1% mature, and 66% rated good to excellent.  Cotton is catching up to the average pace with 98% is squaring and 90% is setting bolls, 68% of the crop is rated good to excellent.  Soybeans are 92% blooming, 75% setting pods, and 64% is rated good to excellent.
