The USDA says dry conditions benefited crops last week in parts of Ohio, while causing moisture stress in other areas.

Eighty percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition. Ninety-three percent of corn is silking, and 51 percent is in the dough stage.

Seventy-three percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent. Ninety percent of soybeans are blooming, and 72 percent are setting pods.
