HELM Agro U.S. President David Schumacher says he’s hearing from ag retailers who are concerned about the supply of crop protection tools ahead of the 2022 season.
“With the COVID-19 situation globally, there have been some impacts on supply chains and getting the right products shipped from the originator to the market has been a challenge too,” he says.
His advice to growers is “to work with your suppliers sooner than later and to have those discussions about what they’re looking for in supply to ensure that they have the products they want to use on their farm locked in prior to the upcoming season.”
