A Midwestern farmer is optimistic on his crops’ yield potential. Missouri grower Richard Oswald tells Brownfield all his corn is in the doe stage.
“Everything that I’ve looked at has good depth to it and the ears are hefty and they look good,” he said.
Oswald said he expects his soybeans to come in above the national average estimate of 50 bushels per acre.
“I doubt we’ll have any field that’ll average under 50, if we can avoid the sudden death,” he said.
