A southern Wisconsin farmer is optimistic about crops after receiving more than three inches of rain since Friday. Ryan Nell says, “This rain definitely just kept us in that very high yield expectations.”
Ryan Nell grows crops between Beaver Dam and Juneau in southern Wisconsin, one of many areas where June was very dry and he was seeing some of the hilltops burning with just enough moisture for most of the crop to hang on.
