A leader with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association says there are some concerns about funding the $1 trillion infrastructure package.
Allison Rivera, executive director of government affairs, says NCBA wants to ensure “that we’re not paying for this infrastructure package on the backs of farmers and ranchers. That’s something we will continue to keep a close eye on. This is a step in the right direction but we’re certainly not across the finish line yet.”
The bipartisan infrastructure bill passed the Senate Tuesday and now heads to the House for consideration.
