Illinois based cooperative GROWMARK, and Tennessee based Indigo Ag have announced a partnership to guide farmers through the agriculture carbon market.
GROWMARK’s network of FS branded retailers will help farmers understand the complex soil carbon market and if they choose, help them enroll in the Carbon by Indigo program. FS retailers will then assist farmers in implementing beneficial farming practices that sequester carbon while Indigo translates the results into premium carbon credits and a new revenue source for the farmer.
