While work is continuing on the Marshall County Courthouse, with more scaffolding slated to come down in the next few weeks from the exterior, the Annex building right across from the Courthouse is almost ready for occupancy. Marshall County Supervisor Chair Dave Thompson says the final inspection with the contractor for the Annex took place Thursday.

Thompson adds that work on the Election Center, also known as the old fire station, is progressing as well and will be completed well before election day in November.
