The USDA says storms during the week brought much needed rain to crops in Ohio.
Eighty-one percent of the state’s corn conditions is in good to excellent condition. Ninety-four percent of corn is silking, 68 percent is in the dough stage with 19 percent dented.
Seventy-three percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent. Ninety-two percent of soybeans are blooming, and 80 percent are setting pods.
