The pork industry is on borrowed time to lobby for a reversal of a federal court ruling to slow line speeds at six pork processing plants across the country.
The Biden administration has until the end of August to appeal the ruling, however earlier this summer Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack said the USDA will not seek to overturn the court ruling.
Executive Director with the Nebraska Pork Producers Association Al Juhnke tells Brownfield the reduction will add pressure to prices.
