President Biden is drawing criticism from biofuel supporters after calling on OPEC nations to increase oil output as gas prices escalate.
The Renewable Fuels Association recently sent a letter to the White House supporting the administration’s call for an investigation into the true causes of recent higher gas prices. RFA CEO Geoff Cooper says rather than hoping Iraq, Iran, Venezuela, and other OPEC countries provide the cure, the immediate solution is increased production and use of low-carbon renewable fuels like ethanol.
