The Global Dairy Index was slightly higher following Tuesday’s trade.  The index was up 0.3% with an average price of $3,827 dollars per metric ton. It’s the first time since April 21st the index has risen, with 180 bidders buying a total of 22,543 tons of dairy products.

Butter, Anhydrous milk fat, Cheddar cheese, and skim milk powder all saw gains in value, while Lactose held steady and whole milk powder values fell.
