The USDA had minor changes for Michigan crops this past week but remains ahead of last year’s pace.

Corn condition gained a point to 77 percent of the crop rated good to excellent. Seventy-eight percent is in the dough stage while 20 percent is dented.

Soybeans dropped three points to 72 percent good to excellent, 95 percent are setting pods.
