At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle ended the day mostly higher and feeders were mostly lower watching corn, and waiting for direct cash business to develop.  August live cattle closed $.65 lower at $125.80 and October live cattle closed $.25 lower at $131.70.  August feeder cattle closed $.37 higher at $158.57 and September feeder cattle closed $1.52 lower at $165.77. 

Direct cash cattle trade was quiet on Tuesday.  Bids are scarce and asking prices are at $125 live and $202 plus dressed in the North.
