USDA is making changes to the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 for some livestock, poultry, and specialty crop producers.
FSA Administrator Zach Ducheneaux says the changes are based on feedback and concerns officials received to provide greater flexibility and address gaps within the program.
Contract producers of eligible livestock and poultry can now apply for additional revenue losses experienced during 2020 based on 2018 data instead of 2019 like in the original program.
