The CEO of Growth Energy says any Renewable Volume Obligation proposal below 15 billion gallons will be met with outrage.
Emily Skor tells Brownfield the EPA is behind in announcing RVO’s for 2021 and 2022, and there are rumors the Biden administration plans to lower the minimum required renewable fuel volumes for this year.
“Anything short of 15 billion gallons is a win for Big Oil (and) a crushing blow to Middle America at a time when we need to continue our COVID recovery throughout the middle of the country.”
If the rumors are true, she suggests it goes against Biden’s climate agenda.
