Farmers travel to Becknology Days each year to see on-farm research and hear agronomic updates first-hand. The event kicked off today and continues through Saturday in Atlanta, Indiana.
Dean Schmaltz has been farming for 65 years. He attended Becknology Days today with his brother, Leon, and his two nephews, Gerald and Mike.
“I used to have grapes, pumpkins, and zucchini and now I’m strictly down to corn. Age says you have to slow up a little bit,” he says.
