At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live cattle closed mixed and feeders were mostly higher waiting for the rest of the week’s business to develop. August live cattle closed $1.27 lower at $122 and October live cattle closed $.47 lower at $129.12. September feeder cattle closed $.20 higher at $164.65 and October feeder cattle closed $.15 higher at $168.42.
Another round of light direct cash cattle trade to finish out the week following the light business that took place on Thursday.
