A pair of Illinois farmers say harvest will start in about 2 weeks on their farms.
Randy DeSutter of Woodhull, President of the Illinois Corn Growers Association, planted all of his corn first this year.
“I am thinking the week of September 13th we might start. We planted some corn on April 5th and 6th so some of it is starting to mature and dry down.
