Direct cash cattle trade is quiet so far today following the last two days of mostly light business. Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are around $124 in the South and $204 in the North. Most of the week’s business is likely wrapped up ahead of the holiday shortened week next week. Southern live deals have come in around $124, about $1 higher than last week’s weighted averages.
