The USDA reports as of Sunday, 30% of Illinois corn is mature, a few percentage points ahead of this time last year, with 96% in the dough stage and 83% dented. Illinois corn is rated 67% good to excellent a bit less than both the previous week and year.
Illinois soybeans turning color reached 22% with 9% dropping leaves, both within a couple points of the five-year average.
