American Farm Bureau has written Ag Secretary Vilsack about issues facing the U.S. supply chain.
Vice president for public affairs Sam Kieffer says AFBF has come up with recommendations for USDA to consider following President Biden’s executive order on America’s supply chains.
“The issues in summary focus on processing capacity for meat, (availability of) agricultural inputs (like) fertilizer and crop protectants, and trade.”
He tells Brownfield the letter to USDA requests that the administration work to resolve outstanding issues with China.
