The USDA says a hailstorm last week caused some crop damage in parts of Wisconsin.

Seventy-four percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition. Ninety-four percent is in the dough stage, 82 percent is dented, and 15 percent is mature.

Seventy-three of soybeans are rated good to excellent with 70 percent coloring, and 22 percent dropping leaves.

Potato harvest is about 40 percent complete while corn silage is at 25 percent.
