The Missouri Department of Agriculture is offering fuel retailers and others a matching grant program to add or improve biofuel infrastructure in the state.
The Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority’s Biofuel Infrastructure Incentive Program is offering $2 million in matching funds for ethanol and biodiesel projects. MASBDA’s Jill Wood tells Brownfield the investment helps all areas of agriculture.
“The increased production of corn and soybeans and the use of that is a clear advantage to those producers but it’s also a win for livestock producers in the form of increased production of soybean meal and dried distiller grains,” Wood said.
