Kansas crop condition movements were mixed over the past week, while winter wheat planting is getting underway.

The USDA says 4% of winter wheat is planted, matching the normal pace.

53% of corn is in good to excellent shape, down 1% on the week, with 89% of the crop dented, compared to the five-year average of 88%, 45% of the crop mature, compared to 47% on average, and 11% is harvested, compared to 10% typically in mid-September.
