An organization that helps distressed farmers and their families will reach a milestone this fall.
Tim Sullivan with Farm Rescue tells Brownfield the need for help on the farm when weather, catastrophic events, and personal tragedies strike is real. “We will hit our 800th crisis caser in October. Even though that alone over seven states might not seem like a lot, we haven’t been in every state for sixteen years.”
Farm Rescue volunteers currently serve farmers dealing with a physical or mental crisis in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Montana, and Kansas.
