Harvest activity is ongoing in Tennessee, but some areas are reporting rain delays. The USDA says all crops are looking good and additional rain would help double crop soybean yields, with armyworms an issue in parts of eastern and middle Tennessee.
As of Sunday, 31% of the corn crop is harvested, compared to the five-year average of 87%, 98% has dented, matching the average, with 79% mature, compared to 87% on average, and 78% of the crop rated good to excellent.
