Harvest is still two weeks away for a Southwestern Ohio farmer as rain falls steadily in parts of the state.
Gail Lierer grows corn and soybeans in Butler County, about three miles from Indiana and 40 miles north of the Ohio River.
“I don’t know if the yields will be quite comparable to other years because of the dry July that we had and August also, but there’re going to be good—just not top notch quality,” she says.
