Conditions should be favorable in the Midwest this harvest season, according to a climate specialist with Ohio State University Extension.
Aaron Wilson says despite recent wet conditions in parts of the Midwest…”it looks like overall we’re going to trend toward slightly warmer than average heading over the next several weeks through the month of October.”
He tells Brownfield he’s also expecting drier than average conditions.
“So, I think as far as harvest goes, I don’t see any issues with farmers being able to get harvest completed in a timely fashion,” he says.
