A biofuels group is concerned about where the EPA will set renewable volume obligations for upcoming years after a possible leaked document showed they would be lower than 2019 levels.
Growth Energy’s John Fuher tells Brownfield the EPA said the rumored numbers – sent to some media outlets – are fake and he’s hoping the agency sets higher blending targets for 2021/2022.
“Between now and when this is released, we’re going to try and ensure what’s in this leaked proposal, one, isn’t true,” he said.
