An eastern Iowa farmer says harvest is off to a good start, especially compared to a year ago.

Lance Lillibridge of Vinton tells Brownfield he’s harvested a couple hundred acres of soybeans and a few hundred acres of corn.
“We’re pleasantly surprised at the yields so far, however I will say they are less than probably what we would’ve liked to have seen.
