Members of Congress are rallying amid rumors the Biden administration plans to reduce federal biofuel blending requirements.
The Environmental Protection Agency is reportedly circulating documents that show the agency is considering significant cuts to the Renewable Fuel Standard.
A bicameral group led by U.S. Democrat Representatives Cheri Bustos of Illinois, Cindy Axne of Iowa, Minnesota’s Angie Craig, and Minnesota U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar sent a letter to the White House this week urging the administration to reject any attempt to lower Renewable Volume Obligations in the RFS.
