Ag Secretary Vilsack says the USDA is committing $500 Million dollars from the Commodity Credit Corporation to prevent African Swine Fever in the U.S.
“To support a robust expansion and coordination of monitoring, surveillance, prevention, quarantine and other activities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti to help eliminate the risk.”
Vilsack, who made the announcement today at Colorado State University, says it’s critical to keep ASF out of the U.S.
