Chicago Mercantile Exchange live and feeder cattle futures were mixed, adjusting spreads at the end of the week and the start of the month. Contracts were up early on an oversold bounce, but couldn’t sustain those gains. October live was down $.17 at $120.40 and December was $.52 lower at $125.20. October feeders were up $.20 at $152.75 and November was unchanged at $152.90.
Light to moderate cash cattle trade took place on Friday as the week’s business was nearly wrapped up.
