Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange began the week in positive territory Monday while cash trade was mixed.

October Class III milk up seven cents at $18.20. November 22 cents higher at $18.42. December up 14 cents at $18.01. January four cents higher at $17.70. February through April contracts unchanged to seven cents higher.

Dry whey up $0.0050 at $0.5850.

Blocks down $0.0525 at $1.7975. Three sales were made from $1.7975 to $1.8125.
