Nearly 18% of South Dakota corn had been harvested as of Sunday ahead of the average. Almost 40% is in fair condition, 20% is good, 38% is poor.

Soybean harvest is behind last year, at 40% complete but ahead of the average. Condition is very similar to corn.

Thirty-six percent of sorghum was harvested, ahead of last year and the average. Eight percent of sunflowers were harvested, also ahead.

Winter wheat planting is ahead, at 77% complete.
