A southwestern Indiana farmer says he’s already starting to prep for the 2022 growing season. 

Ben Kron says fertilizer prices are one of his top concerns.  “With fertilizer prices going through the roof, it’s going to be pretty interesting,” he says.  “We’re still trying to figure out what we’re going to do on the fertilizer side of things.”

He tells Brownfield he’s hoping for enough time this fall to get some ground worked and get as much fieldwork done as he can ahead of the upcoming growing season.
