The gentle and free spirit of Jean Thompson, 64, of Conrad, Iowa, passed away peacefully on the evening of Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Iowa River Hospice Home surrounded by her 
loving husband and sons.
Services for Jean will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Journey Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, 
October 8, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials in Jean’s name may be directed to her family for a later designation. For additional
