There have been a handful of direct cash cattle trades reported in parts of Colorado. Deals were at $124 live, steady with the week’s previous business. Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are around $125 live in the South and $198 dressed in the North. There could be a little clean-up trade reported today, but it’s likely business has wrapped up for the week.
Boxed beef was mixed at midday on light to moderate demand for light offerings. Choice is $1.25 lower at $284.05 and Select is $.90 higher at $265.34.
